A remarkable transplant of American New Hollywood stalwarts (and some of their elders) to the poliziotteschi genere. Joe Gallo (Peter Boyle) plays a member of the Colombo family who is betrayed by the family and lands in jail. Upon his release, his returns to New York to rebuild his life.
